"Sā Vidyā Yā Vimucyate" - learning is that which liberates
Shri Nrityam Sadhana
Shri Nrityam Sadhana (SNS) is a training program that facilities the learning and exploration of South Asian Dance and Somatic movement. SNS specialises and concentrates on the exploration of Bharatanataym and Natya Sastra movement technique. Facilitated by T. Shriraam, the students of SNS will learn Bharatanatyam with high sensitivity, quality and professionalism, yet in an environment of enjoyment & curiosity.

SNS Program
The SNS Program is structured into three components for codified learning towards achieving a Bharatanatyam dancing body. This methodology is based on extensive learning and research surrounding Critical Pedagogy, Natya Sastra and somatic practices of movement.
The program has been designed in a comprehensive manner for progressive learning and exploration of Bharatanatyam (the Shri Nrityam method). With deep respects to the codifications given by the Tanjore Quartet (early 19th century), we also follow the Natya Sastra technique (2nd century) of movement for a holistic understanding of body, mind and movement.
